TAPE-TEL ELECTRONICS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Placing an order: To order our products, please follow the step-by-step process within our website or we would be happy to take your order over the phone. Please call us at (800) 228-1751 and speak to one of our Customer Service representatives. All orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. In case the product you selected is on backorder, you will receive immediate notification and be given the choice to remain on backorder, substitute the backordered item for another item or cancel the order. All orders go through an address verification system in order to protect our customers and the company against fraud. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel any orders that are suspected of being under fraudulent activity.
Returns/Purchases: Returns will not be accepted after 15 days from the date of invoicing. If you wish to return equipment within 15 days, please contact your Customer Service representatives for instructions. All original materials must be included with returns to avoid a possible 20% restock fee. All returns or exchanges missing or with damage to the original box may be refused or may be subject to a 20% penalty fee. Ship all returns using a traceable shipping method and a separate shipping box. Do not put any courier labels on the manufacturer’s merchandise packaging. Additional fees will be charged under these circumstances.
We will not accept items back unless they are returned with the manufacturer’s original packaging.
Tape-Tel Electronics is not liable in any way for returned packages that were lost or damaged during shipment.
Please include a copy of your receipt along with a description of all problems you had with the packaged components. You should choose a courier that provides tracking and insurance for your package. We do not reimburse shipping and handling costs incurred by Tape-Tel Electronics while processing your order, or any shipping costs the customer incurs while returning or exchanging your purchase.
Shipping costs is not refundable.
Exchange: If within 15 days of purchase you are not happy with your purchase and would like to discuss an exchange, please contact your Sales Representative at (800) 228-1751.
Advance Replacement: Tape-Tel Electronics will exchange any equipment that is found to be defective during the first 15 days of service. Exceptions apply. You must contact your Sales Representative at (800) 228-1751.
Shipping Charges: Shipping charges will be automatically added to the order. UPS ground is offered on this website however if you wish to expedite your order to another UPS service please call and we’ll be glad to expedite it for you for an additional charge. Orders under $20.00 may be shipped USPS with confirmation. Orders over $100 ship free in within the continental United States only. If you wish us to ship on your FedEx or UPS account number you will need to call your order into our office at (800) 228-1751.
Please note that delivery time is subject to the ability of our couriers to fulfill their delivery schedule. Tape-Tel Electronics is not liable for packages that weren’t delivered on time because of mishaps or unavoidable delays by our couriers.
UPS GROUND SHIPPING RATES ACCORDING TO PURCHASE DOLLAR AMOUNT:
$0.01 To $99.99 – UPS Standard Ground Rate except for UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air
$100.00 and up Free Shipping except for UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air
Drop Shipment: If you wish to drop-ship to a customer, please call us at (800) 228-1751 and we will gladly take care of it for you.
Terms and Payment Methods: We accept the following credit cards, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We also offer terms to customers who provide us with acceptable credit information. If you’re interested in opening a credit account with us you can call us for application, fill it out and fax it to us. Purchase orders are accepted from Government agencies, including, PD Dept’s, Hospitals, Fire Dept., Schools, etc. with a hard copy of the PO.
